Pricing

Pricing for the hunting blocks varies greatly from block to block depending on underlying transport costs, number in the party and block facilities. You will be given a cost for the package at the time of booking a block that covers,

• Return transport from Bluff to Stewart Island,
• A night's backpacker accommodation in Oban prior to departure to your block, (allows you to get an early start to the block),
• Return transport from Oban to your block,
• Use of the Block facilities, (Bedding is your responsibility we do provide Mattresses for each bed in the hut)
• The right to hunt and remove deer from the block for all members of your party.
• Coal for the Fire,
• Gas and 2 burner cooking rings, (cooking utensils are your responsibility)
• 1 Dinghy without outboard, (Life jackets are your responsibility and we recommend that you use life jackets when using the dinghy).

The blocks are offered as hunting blocks and if you wish to use the facilities for other purposes such as fishing, and diving that is OK but you will be purchasing the use of a hunting block using our hunting block package. Equally everyone in your party will be considered a hunter and will be included as part of your party for charging purposes.

Our blocks range from approximately $3,750.00 inc GST for 4 Hunters for 1 week using our basic package.
