Booking System for 2010 and beyond

Bookings for the 2010 and beyond are now open based on our package  system, which is different to how our blocks were offered previously. Details of the  package  system are covered on this website along with the block availability, the charter boat ,and helicopter operators that we use. If you would like to complete a booking please email us at Manager@seethebirds.co.nz supplying the block you're interested in, the dates you wish to travel and the number in your party and we will reply to you at the earliest opportunity.

Bookings are based on a minimum party size of four people (you may travel with less but you will be charged for four) and thereafter each additional person will be charged.

Bookings will be taken on blocks where the return date from the block is no greater than 12 months from the date of your application.

When you make a booking and your booking is available, you will be given 14 days inclusive, (from the date we confirm your booking is available), to pay for your package in full. This means there will no longer be a deposit to secure the booking then payment of the balance nearer that date you leave. Securing the booking will require payment in full. 

Adjustments to bookings

Once your booking as been confirm you may make one adjustment to the numbers you have booked on your trip up to 90 days before the departure date from Bluff to the block you have booked to use, thereafter the booking is fixed.

If you make more than one adjustment to your booking you will be charged an adjustment fee of $50.00 per additional adjustment.

Booking changes to the date you booked will be subject to our ability to alter transport arrangements therefore you should consider you block and transport dates as fixed from date of confirmation.

An adjustment fee of $50.00 will be applied to any date changes for the block or transport if they are available. All Hunters in your party will be required to provide appropriate ID to the Charter Boat operator before you can be transported to your block.

Changes to your block selection once confirmed will require a cancellation of the existing booking and a cancellation fee of $200.00 will apply in addition to anything else covered the terms and conditions relating to block cancellation covered on this website.
