Welcome to the Hunt Rakiura website where you can get helpful information on hunting opportunities for Stewart Island. The website aims to provide you with the necessary information to help you decide whether you would like to take up the challenge to Hunt Whitetail Deer on New Zealand's Stewart Island using the Maori Land Blocks. Stewart Island has for many years been a prized hunting spot for many local and international Hunters. The costal location of the hunting blocks also provides the opportunity to take advantage of Stewart Islands great fishing and diving opportunities that is also available within the same area of the hunting blocks. Many of the regular hunting parties have been taking advantage of this opportunity to to fish and dive during their hunting trips for many years. Equally we are now getting many parties who are now using the hunting blocks primarily for fishing and diving. The Whitetail Deer on these blocks represent the most southern herd of Whitetail Deer in the world and the blocks provide access to good stocks in a stunning location.
